This painting of the Annunciation was commissioned by St. Gabriel's to hang behind the altar in their temporary portable building when the church was first established.  The entire building was also faux finished and patterned to make the space less like a "box" and more welcoming.The building is now their hall and the painting is now hanging in the Adoration Chapel. The canvas is approximately 5ft x 15ft
